The BREMER AG , headquartered in the East Westphalian town of Paderborn in North Rhine-Westphalia is a German construction company , which operates in Stahlbetonfertigteilbau.

The company's range of services includes the construction of logistics buildings, cold stores, production buildings, office buildings, furniture stores , hypermarkets and stadiums.

In addition to the company headquarters in Paderborn, Bremer has company locations in Hamburg, Bochum, Stuttgart, Ingolstadt and the Polish city of Krakow and a precast concrete plant in Leipzig.

history

The company was founded in 1947 by Wilhelm Bremer. As a civil engineer, Bremer was involved in the reconstruction of Paderborn, which was largely destroyed by bombings in World War II .

In 1957, Wilhelm Bremer established the first company location on Grüner Weg in the south-west of Paderborn, where Bremer AG still has its headquarters today. In 1960 a production hall was built on the factory premises.

Under the direction of Wilhelm Bremer, the company developed in the following years into a company specializing in construction and statics . In addition, the company specializes in precast reinforced concrete construction for industry and commerce. Additional production halls were built on the site in the 1960s and 1970s.

Wolfgang Bremer, the son of the company founder, joined the company in 1978 and took over the management. From 1983 the company also offered turnkey complete solutions for building constructions with prefabricated parts. In 1989, Wolfgang Bremer founded the independent Bremer Systembau GmbH, which specializes in turnkey construction with reinforced concrete parts and traded in precast reinforced concrete parts from the original Paderborn plant. The production facility for precast concrete elements remained as an independent company. This created two independent companies.

In 2001 the two companies were merged under the name Bremer. In 2002, Wolfgang Bremer founded Bremer Systembau GmbH Stuttgart in Stuttgart as a subsidiary of the newly structured company.

In 2009 and 2010 a new administration building was built on Grüner Weg. In addition, the production facility was connected to the rail network in 2009, which considerably simplified the transport of the precast concrete parts.

In 2012, a new precast plant was built in Leipzig as the third company location.

In 2013, Bremer AG founded further branches in Leipzig, Ingolstadt and Krakow, which are responsible for regional support in the areas of acquisition , project management and warranty. In addition to the engineering center in Paderborn, another engineering center specializing in construction and statics was built in Leipzig.
