The Suzuki Arena is a football stadium in the Polish city ​​of Kielce . It has a capacity of 15,550 spectators , but only 14,600 spectators are admitted to matches of the Korona Kielce football club in Ekstraklasa .

history

The construction of the stadium, which lasted from November 22, 2004 to April 1, 2006, cost 48 million (approx. 11.4 million ). The stadium is owned by the City of Kielce. The first international game took place on May 16, 2006. The home team won 4-1 (3-0) in the friendly between Korona Kielce and Borussia Dortmund .

In January 2014, the municipal stadium received the sponsor name Kolporter Arena until at least June 2018 . On September 11, 2018, the renaming of the football arena was announced at a press conference. Since November 1, 2018, it has been called Suzuki Arena . The Polish division of the Japanese automobile manufacturer Suzuki , Suzuki Motor Poland , acquired the naming rights to the venue from Korona Kielce.
