Marcin Andrzej Robak (born November 29, 1982 in Legnica ) is a Polish football player .

Club career

Marcin Robak learned to play football at Konfeks Legnica . In 2002 he moved to city rivals Miedź Legnica , who were then playing in the third division . Here he played until 2006 and then moved to Korona Kielce in the Ekstraklasa . In three seasons he brought it to 66 games and 19 hits in the top division of Poland. From 2008 he played for Widzew Łódź , who played due to a forced relegation in the second highest Polish football league, the 1st division . Since then he has been one of the best strikers in the league. In three seasons with Widzew, he scored 45 goals in 73 games. Seven of them in ten games in the Ekstraklasa.

For the second half of the 2010/11 season Marcin Robak moved to Turkey to Konyaspor . After his club had not managed to stay up at the end of the season, Robak agreed to play for his club in the second-rate TFF 1st Lig in the coming season . At the beginning of July 2012, he left the club after missing promotion. At the end of August 2012 he signed a two-year contract until the end of June 2014 with an option for another year with the first division club Mersin İdman Yurdu . There, however, he was only used in two cup games in the first half of the 2012/13 season . At the end of January 2013, he therefore terminated his contract.

Marcin Robak

In early March 2013 Robak signed a contract with the Polish first division club Piast Gliwice until the end of June 2015. For Piast he ran a total of 14 Ekstraklasa games and scored five goals. On August 13, 2013, he signed a 3-year contract with league rivals Pogoń Szczecin . The transfer fee was 150,000 euros. On February 21, 2014, he scored all the goals in the 5-1 home win over Lech Posen . At the end of the season he finished 7th in the table with Pogoń Szczecin and was the top scorer of the Polish Ekstraklasa with a total of 22 goals . Then the Chinese first division team Guizhou Renhe signed him . However, shortly before the start of the season, the Chinese gave up his services. Marcin Robak returned to Poland and signed with Pogoń Szczecin. Here he seamlessly continued the form of the previous season and scored 11 goals in 17 games. For the 2015/16 season he was signed by the Polish champions Lech Posen. In the 2016/17 season he was top scorer with 18 goals together with Marco Paixão and then moved on to league rivals Śląsk Wrocław . Here, too, he has already scored 37 goals in 68 league games.

National team

Marcin Robak made his debut in the Polish national team on January 17, 2010 in a friendly against Denmark (1: 3). On January 20, 2010, he scored his first goal for Poland against Thailand (3-1).
