Włodzimierz Ciołek (born March 24, 1956 in Wałbrzych ) is a former Polish football player .

Club career

Włodzimierz Ciołek started his professional career in 1977 at the Polish club Górnik Wałbrzych . In 1978 he moved to league competitor FKS Stal Mielec . He played here for five seasons before returning to Górnik Wałbrzych in 1983. From 1987 to 1990 he ended his career in Switzerland at FC Grenchen . In his entire professional career, he did not win a single title.

National team

He played a total of 29 games for Poland . Ciołek made his debut on October 11, 1978 in Bucharest against Romania (0: 1) and played his last game for Poland on September 4, 1985 in Brno against Czechoslovakia (1: 2). With the Polish national soccer team he took part in the 1982 World Cup in Spain . Here Poland achieved a remarkable third place.
