Jan Liberda (born November 26, 1936 in Bytom ; † February 6, 2020 ) was a Polish football player .

Liberda began his career in 1949 with his hometown club Polonia Bytom . Between 1955 and 1971 he brought it to a total of 304 games and 146 goals at Polonia Bytom. He was the top scorer twice , in 1959 with 21 goals and in 1962 with 16 goals, where he was also the Polish champion. With 146 goals, Liberda holds seventh position in the all-time list of top scorers in the Polish first division. At the International Football Cup 1963/64 , he reached the final with his team, but there was defeat by Slovnaft Bratislava . On May 20, 1959, he received his first appointment to the Polish national soccer team against Germany in Hamburg. He has a total of 35 games and eight goals in the national team.
