Mariusz Śrutwa (born July 15, 1971 in Bytom ) is a former Polish football player .

Club career

Mariusz Śrutwa learned to play football at Polonia Bytom . Where he played in the 2nd Polish league from 1989 to 1991. 1991 moved to Ruch Chorzów . He played here until 1999 before moving to Legia Warszawa for two seasons . However, he never made the big breakthrough with the capital city and returned to Ruch Chorzów at the end of 2000, where he played until 2006. From 2006 to 2007 he played futsal for Clearex Chorzów . In 2007 he played a short time for Rozwój Katowice in the 3rd Polish league. In total, Mariusz Śrutwa played 281 games in the Polish Ekstraklasa and scored 103 goals. In total, he completed over 400 games for Ruch Chorzów in all competitions (1st league, 2nd league, cup, UI Cup, UEFA Cup, etc.) and scored 163 goals. In Silesia he is considered a football legend.
