Włodzimierz Mazur (born April 14, 1954 in Opatów , † December 1, 1988 ) was a Polish football player .

Club career

Mazur played for Zagłębie Sosnowiec from 1973 to 1983 . During this time he was twice the Polish Cup winner (1977 and 1978) and 1977 with 17 goals top scorer of the Polish Ekstraklasa . In 1983 he moved to France to Stade Rennes . Here he played until 1985. In the 1985/1986 season he played again briefly with Zagłębie Sosnowiec.

National team

In the Polish national team Włodzimierz Mazur played a total of 23 times from 1976 to 1982 and scored 3 goals. He made his debut on October 31, 1976 in Warsaw against Cyprus (5-0), his last game he played on October 10, 1982 in Lisbon against Portugal (1: 2).
