Kamil Wilczek (born January 24, 1988 in Wodzisław Śląski ) is a Polish football player .

Career

society

Wilczek started his career at the Wodzislaw Football Academy . In 2005 he moved to Silesia Lubomia . From summer 2006 he played for a year in Spain with UD Horadada and in the second team of FC Elche before moving to JKH GKS Jastrzębie in the second Polish division . After performing well, he joined Piast Gliwice in early 2009 . His debut in the Polish first division took place in February of the same year. Between 2010 and 2013 he wore Zagłębie Lubin's dress . From 2013 he ran again for Piast Gliwice. In the 2014/15 season he was even the top scorer in the Ekstraklasa with 20 goals . Nevertheless, his contract was not extended and Wilczek has to leave Gleiwitz in summer 2015. For the 2015/2016 season he finally signed a 3-year contract with the Serie A newcomer Carpi FC . However, he was unable to assert himself in Italy and at the end of January 2016 moved to Brøndby IF in Denmark , where he signed a 3.5-year contract.

National team

Wilczek played several times for Poland's U-19 and U-21 team . He made his debut in Poland's senior team in a 2-1 friendly win over Armenia on October 11, 2016 when he came on for Łukasz Teodorczyk in the 85th minute .
