Wallace Reis da Silva , called Wallace , (born December 26, 1987 in Conceição do Coité , Bahia ) is a Brazilian football player . The right foot is used as a central defender.
Career
Wallace began his career in the youth team of the EC Vitória in Salvador . Here he also made the leap into the professional squad. On June 8, 2008, he played his first game as a professional. In Série A he played against FC Santos from the start. His first goal as a professional he succeeded in the following season on May 10, 2009, in the championship round against Atlético Paranaense. Wallace played his first game at international club level in the Copa Sudamericana 2009 on August 13 against Club Atlético River Plate .
For the 2011 season, Wallace moved to Corinthians São Paulo . With this club he was able to celebrate the national championship in the same year. In 2012, the titles in the Copa Libertadores and the FIFA Club World Cup followed. After Wallace won his three biggest titles with Corinthians, he moved to Flamengo Rio de Janeiro in 2013 . Here he won the Brazilian Cup in the same year and the Rio de Janeiro State Championship in 2014 . After an untitled 2015, the player moved to Grêmio Porto Alegre in early 2016 .
For the second half of the 2016/17 season he was loaned to the Turkish first division club Gaziantepspor . Wallace played his first game in the Turkish Süper Lig on January 29, 2017 against Trabzonspor . After Gaziantepspor failed to pay wages, Wallace returned to Gremio. Shortly after his return, the next loan shop followed. Wallace came to EC Vítoria, the club where his career began. After the loan ended, Göztepe Izmir signed him in January 2018 .
