Berkan Emir (born February 6, 1988 in İzmit ) is a Turkish football player .

Career

Emir was born in 1988 in İzmit, Turkey . His parents had moved here from Trabzon Province . He started club football in 2000 in the youth of İzmit Bekirpaşaspor . A year later he switched to the youth of Kocaelispor . During his time at Kocaelispor, the talent hunters from Beşiktaş Istanbul noticed him and brought him to their youth department in 2004. After a year at Beşiktaş, he returned to the youth of Kocaelispor in 2005. Here he played for the next two years for the youth or reserve team of the club.

In the summer of 2007 he moved to the fourth division Orhangazispor with a professional contract . Here he made his first competitive game against arch-rivals Orhangazi Gençlerbirliği . After this game he quickly fought for a regular place and completed 23 league games by the end of the season. After another year for Orhangazispor, he left this club in the summer of 2009 and moved to Bursa Nilüferspor within the league . A year later he changed clubs again and this time hired at league rivals Gümüşhanespor . While he only played sporadically at Nilüferspor, he immediately won a regular place at his new club.

After he was active for Gümüşhanespor until the summer of 2011 in the TFF 3rd Lig , he moved within the league to Kahramanmaraşspor . At this club, he managed to jump into the starting lineup right away. In his first season for Kahramanmaraşspor, the fourth division season 2011/12 , he succeeded with his team as a playoff winner in the TFF 2nd Lig to rise. In the 2nd Lig you ended the season as champions and rose for the second time in a row. This time in the second highest Turkish league, in the TFF 1st Lig . Aydoğan completed almost all league games for his team.

In the summer of 2013 he moved to the second division Karşıyaka SK . After half a season he was committed by the first division side Balıkesirspor .

In the summer of 2015/16 he moved to the first division club Kayserispor and one season later to Alanyaspor . Emir stayed with Alanyaspor for two years and then went to Göztepe Izmir .
