Deniz Kadah (* 2. March 1986 in Viranşehir , Turkey ) is a German - Turkish football player with Kurdish descent. He has been under contract with Göztepe Izmir since July 2018 .

Origin and miscellaneous

Deniz Kadah was born in Viranşehir , in southeastern Turkey , in the province of Şanlıurfa . His parents emigrated to Germany and he grew up in Verden , Lower Saxony , which he regards as his hometown .

Kadah belongs to the Kurdish ethnic group and is committed to it. He is also the religious minority Yazidis on.

In addition to his football career, he has been running a cocktail and sports bar in his adopted home Verden since June 2010, which is run by his brother Metin. He is referred to as El Kurdo by his team-mates at Çaykur Rizespor at the time . His back number is "63", which corresponds to the Turkish license plate of the province of his birth .

Career

After a year at Rotenburger SV , Kadah switched to TuS Heeslingen in the summer of 2006 , with whom he was champion of the Lower Saxony League East in the 2006/07 season and was promoted to the Oberliga Nord . With 13 goals this season, the young striker aroused the interest of other clubs and so he joined VfB Lübeck in the Regionalliga Nord in 2007 .

From summer 2008 to June 2010 he was active at Fortuna Düsseldorf . Kadah helped the team in the 2008/09 season on the penultimate matchday, 37th matchday, with his goal the decisive 2-1 victory and moved up to second place in the table on a direct promotion place. And defended second place with the Fortuna until the last matchday and rose, therefore directly. In the summer of 2010, his contract was not renewed due to his injury problems.

In the autumn of 2010, Kadah completed a trial training with an English second division team from London and later also with the German third division club 1. FC Saarbrücken , where this resulted in no further engagements with these clubs. As a football player without a contract, he kept fit with his former youth club FC Verden 04.

After more than half a year without a club, he was signed by regional league club FC Oberneuland in February 2011 . In March 2011, Kadah won a 2-0 win over VfB Lübeck with relegated FC Oberneuland, where he contributed a goal and thus helped Lübeck end the series of 16 unbeaten league games since September 2010. Kadah played 15 games, scored two goals and was relegated to the team as penultimate at the end of the season .

In July 2011 he moved back to VfB Lübeck after four years. On the first three match days of the Regionalliga Nord of the 2011/12 season, Kadah scored eight times for VfB, but was out until February 2012 due to an injury. In May 2012, Deniz Kadah made a significant contribution to winning the SHFV Cup 2012 and thus ensured that his team qualified for the DFB Cup of the 2012/13 season . He scored all four goals in the national cup final in a 4-2 win ( n.V. ). The 1-0 lead, the 2-2 equalization in the final minutes of regular time and the two other goals in extra time.

In the summer of 2012, his move to the second team (U-23) of the Bundesliga club Hannover 96 became known. In the first half of the season he scored 18 goals in 18 games in the fourth-class Regionalliga Nord . On January 18, 2013, Kadah made his Bundesliga debut in the 5-4 defeat at FC Schalke 04 when he came on for Manuel Schmiedebach in the 86th minute of the game .

Shortly before the end of the 2013/14 winter transfer period, Kadah moved to Turkey and signed a contract with first division club Çaykur Rizespor until summer 2016. On September 19, 2015, he scored a hat trick within 37 minutes in the league game against Antalyaspor , from which 3: 1- Leadership up to the final score of 5: 1.

Less than ten months later, in July 2016, Kadah moved to Antalya for Antalyaspor after his hat trick against Antalyaspor. He signed a two-year contract with an option for an additional year.

For the 2018/19 season, Kadah was signed by Göztepe Izmir.
