Regionalliga 2009/10
3rd division 2010/11

The 2010/11 season of the Regionalliga was the third season of the Regionalliga as the fourth highest division in German football. It was played in three regional seasons - north, west and south - with 18 teams each. The regional league was organized by the German Football Association DFB , which transferred the technical administration to the Northeast German Football Association NOFV (Regionalliga Nord), the West German Football and Athletics Association WFLV (Regionalliga West) and the South German Football Association SFV (Regionalliga Süd) . The season started on August 7, 2009 and ended on May 29, 2010.

The champions of the North, West and South seasons rose directly to the 3rd division . The last three teams of the seasons west and south and the last four clubs in the north were relegated to the respective league .

The DFB announced the division on June 21, 2010.

North

The 2010/11 season of the Regionalliga Nord started on August 6, 2010 and ended on May 28, 2011. Chemnitzer FC rose to the third division . Eintracht Braunschweig II , FC Oberneuland and Türkiyemspor Berlin , which could not win a game, had to relegate to the league . Originally, the relegation of TSV Havelse was also planned to be fourth from last, but by increasing the season west to 19 teams for the following season and after lengthy licensing measures, a place in the regional league remained free, which Havelse then took.
