Michael Schürg (born October 21, 1984 in Renningen ) is a German soccer player . The striker is two-time top scorer in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg .
Career
His hometown club is SpVgg Renningen . In 2005, as the newly crowned champion and top scorer of the district league Enz / Murr, he moved directly to the three classes of the higher Oberliga Baden-Württemberg for SGV Freiberg . During the winter break of the 2007/08 season he went to SSV Ulm 1846 . In the same season, Schürg was with 24 goals, 12 each for Freiberg and Ulm, Oberliga scorer king and at the same time the best scorer in Baden-Württemberg . As an award, he received the glass Toto Lotto trophy.
For the 2008/09 season Schürg moved to the Stuttgarter Kickers in the 3rd division . Schürg made his professional debut on July 26, 2008 on the first day of the 2008/09 season against Wacker Burghausen . He scored his first goal in the 3rd division on September 27, 2008 in a 1-1 draw against Kickers Emden . At the end of the season he was relegated with the club from the third division. Michael Schürg was successful four times for the relegated player in 26 games and prepared 12 goals, which made him the top scorer of the Stuttgarter Kickers. He then left the club and returned to SSV Ulm in 1846 in the regional league , where he first signed a one-year contract.
After 23 goals in 47 games for Ulm, Schürg moved to SV Darmstadt 98 during the winter break of the 2010/11 season , which he left after the season and joined the regional division Wormatia Worms for a year . In the summer of 2012, the striker returned to the upper division SGV Freiberg. For the 2013/14 season he joined Freiberg's major league competitors FC Nöttingen . With 28 goals this season, he was crowned top scorer in the Oberliga BW for the second time in his career in the 2013/14 season , and he also led the club in third place - runner-up TSV Grunbach had withdrawn - in the promotion games to the regional league. After a 0-0 win in the first leg, he was one of the decisive players in the duels with FSV Salmrohr with the goal to make the final 1-0 , so the club rose to fourth division. Schürg's contract runs until 2019.
