The Geberit-Arena is a football stadium with an athletics facility in the Baden-Württemberg city of Pfullendorf , administrative district of Tübingen . Since it opened, it has been known in particular as the venue for the SC Pfullendorf soccer club . It offers 10,001 seats, of which 850 seats. Due to the external conditions, the Geberit Arena is approved for up to the 3rd German soccer class.
history
The facility was inaugurated in 1955 and is mainly used for football and athletics . The stadium was called the Waldstadion until 2005 , then was renamed the ALNO-Arena in order to take into account the sponsorship of Alno AG . This situation changed in 2008 when Alno terminated the sponsorship contract with SC Pfullendorf at the end of the 2007/08 season in order to instead become the main partner of the German women's national soccer team . The company Geberit was found as a new sponsor , whereupon the venue was renamed again. The stadium was extensively renovated for the 2018/2019 season. From time to time there are also big friendly matches of professional teams or U-national teams of the German Football Association.
