The 2010/11 season of the Oberliga Südwest was the 33rd season of the Football Oberliga Südwest and the third as the fifth highest division in Germany . The season began on July 29, 2010 and ended with the last game day on May 28, 2011. SC 07 Idar-Oberstein secured the championship and promotion to the regional league with a four-point lead over FK Pirmasens .

The relegation ranks were occupied by Rot-Weiß Hasborn-Dautweiler , SG Bad Breisig , SV Auersmacher and the Eisbachtaler Sportfreunde .

The climbers were Arminia Ludwigshafen from the Association League Southwest , the FSV Salmrohr from the Rhineland League and the SV Röchling Völklingen from the Saarland League . FC 08 Homburg was relegated from Regionalliga West .

The top scorer was Pierre Merkel from SC 07 Idar-Oberstein and Davit Bakhtadze from Sportfreunde Köllerbach , each with 22 goals.
