|
The 2010/11 season of the Oberliga Nordost was the 20th season of the Oberliga Nordost and the third as the fifth highest division in Germany. The champions of the northern and southern seasons rose directly to the regional league . The last two teams of the two seasons relegated to the association or state league. Since Türkiyemspor Berlin was relegated from the Regionalliga as a team of the Northeast German Football Association (NOFV), the last two of the northern and southern seasons played in two relegation games (two-legged) for another relegation place. After FC Sachsen Leipzig announced the cessation of the game at the end of the season, it was confirmed as relegated in the southern group and the fifteenth table took part in the relegation games.
At the beginning of the season, FSV 63 Luckenwalde was regrouped from the northern to the southern relay, as two teams, FC Hansa Rostock II and Tennis Borussia Berlin, were relegated to the northern relay.
North season
After only one season, Tennis Borussia Berlin was relegated from the regional league and played in the major league again. In addition, FC Hansa Rostock withdrew its second team from the Regionalliga for financial reasons. From the Berlin league , the second team of qualified 1. FC Union Berlin for the league, from the Brandenburg League of increased SV Altlüdersdorf and from the Verbandsliga Mecklenburg-Vorpommern was the FC Anker Wismar to the last in the 2005 season / 06 played major league football.
An autumn champion could not be crowned because not all games of the first half of the season had been played at the winter break due to the weather. Berlin Ankaraspor Kulübü 07 was in first place with 34 points, but had only played 14 games. The runner-up, Hansa Rostock II (30 points from 14 games), could not be overtaken in the first half of the season, but the third-placed, Torgelower SV Greif , was at least theoretically able to overtake , as he had scored 29 points from 13 games. At the bottom of the table were Ludwigsfelder FC with 7 points from 14 games and the relegated regional league Tennis Borussia Berlin with 10 points from 14 games.
On April 15, the renaming of the Berlin Ankaraspor Kulübü 07 club to Berliner Athletik Klub 07 became effective.
On the last day of the match, Torgelower SV Greif was only able to secure the championship of the North Staffel because of the better goal difference compared to Hansa Rostock II. Torgelow, like Rostock and Neustrelitz, had renounced a possible promotion beforehand. Therefore, the third in the table, the Berliner AK 07, is promoted to the regional league.
In contrast to the southern season, all previous year's climbers were able to keep the class. At the end of the season, Ludwigsfelder FC had been relegated with 20 points and Reinickendorfer Füchse with 21 points. The previous year’s relegation from the regional league, Tennis Borussia Berlin, achieved 14th place in the table with 22 points and thus had to play the relegation games against the fourth-placed table in the southern season.

Season south
The FSV 63 Luckenwalde has been regrouped from the North squadron in the South-season because the FC Hansa Rostock II and Tennis Borussia Berlin two teams relegated from the Regional League in the North-season. The second team of Chemnitzer FC qualified as champions of the Saxon regional league for the new league season. The second team of 1. FC Magdeburg reported back from the Association League Saxony-Anhalt after a year . After the master of Thuringia League , the BSV Eintracht Sondershausen financial reasons renounced the rise, the table Second, the increased FSV Wacker 03 Gotha on.
Also in the southern season no clear autumn champions could be determined, because here too not all games of the first half of the season had been played during the winter break due to the weather. With VfB Germania Halberstadt (29 points from 14 games), FSV Budissa Bautzen (28 points from 14 games) and VfB Auerbach (27 points from 14 games) the top three teams in the table would have had a chance of winning the championship. At the end of the table, the situation was even more distorted due to the different number of games played. The bottom of the table, Chemnitzer FC II, had only played 12 games during the winter break and scored 8 points. The penultimate, 1. FC Lokomotive Leipzig , owed his 8 points to just 10 games. The third from last, VfL Halle 1896 , had won 9 points in 13 games.
VfB Germania Halberstadt had been promoted to the Regionalliga since the 27th match day , after the team had been unbeaten since the third match day and had won all games since the nineteenth match day. The team could not continue the series until the end of the season, as they lost to VfL Halle on matchday 29, but in the end they were 15 points ahead of second place, VfB Auerbach, and 20 points over third place, Budissa Bautzen .
Last year's climbers FC Magdeburg II landed at the bottom of the table with 26 points and Borea Dresden with 29 points. VfL Halle found itself on the relegation site after the team slipped to 14th place on the last matchday. Since FC Sachsen Leipzig filed for bankruptcy at the end of the season, Halle held the class without relegation games and Borea Dresden played the relegation games.

Relegation
Since Türkiyemspor Berlin was relegated from the Regionalliga as a team of the Northeast German Football Association (NOFV), the third-bottom of the northern and southern seasons would have had to play for another relegation place in two relegation games (first and second leg). Tennis Borussia Berlin took part in the games from the northern season. From the southern season, VfL Halle should have played to remain in the top division. However, since FC Sachsen Leipzig filed for bankruptcy at the end of the season, Halle held the class without relegation and the fifteenth table, SC Borea Dresden , was allowed to play the relegation games.
In the first leg on the Jägerpark sports field in Dresden, Borea scored a victory with a goal from Oliver Genausch . Since the actual home stadium of Tennis Borussia, the Mommsenstadion , was not approved by FIFA because it was to be used as a training facility for the women's soccer World Cup , the second leg was finally played in the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark . In the middle of the second half, Beyazit Taflan scored a goal for Berlin, with which the decision was open again. In the extension, Mateusz Trachimowicz ensured with an own goal that the Dresden team took over the overall lead again. Finally André Heinisch made everything clear with the 2: 1 for Borea. The SC Borea Dresden remained in the upper league, whereas Tennis Borussia Berlin was relegated to the Berlin league and for the first time in the club's history only played sixth class.
