Michael Preuss (born January 6, 1984 in Wernigerode ) is a German soccer player .
Career
In his youth, Preuß was active at 1. FC Wernigerode until 2002, where he also gained his first experience in the men's field. Since the club had to file for bankruptcy in June 2002, he joined the Germania Wernigerode club founded by members of the former 1. FC Wernigerode . In 2003 the striker moved from Germania Wernigerode to VfB Germania Halberstadt . After two years he returned to Germania Wernigerode. In 2009 Michael Preuss joined SV Stahl Thale and was promptly top scorer in the Landesliga Nord with 25 goals. In 2010 he went to VfB Germania Halberstadt again. After he was top scorer and champion with Halberstadt in the southern season of the Oberliga Nordost in the 2010/11 season , Preuss moved to Halleschen FC and was promoted to the third division there in his first season . In the summer of 2013, his contract was not extended, whereupon the SSV Markranstädt signed the now 29-year-old attacker. But already in September 2013 the contract was canceled again by mutual agreement. After a few months without a club, Preuss rejoined his former club Stahl Thale in January 2014 for the second half of the season. In the summer he moved to North Rhine-Westphalia , where he joined the state division Grün-Weiß Wuppertal . During the winter break he moved to TuRU Düsseldorf . The 2015/16 season began Preuss with the Wuppertal regional division club SC Sonnborn 07 , before he moved again in winter and returned to Stahl Thale. For the 2016/17 season he signed with FC Einheit Wernigerode , during the winter break he joined his former club Germania Wernigerode.
