The 2012/13 season of the Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz / Saar was the 35th season of the soccer Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz / Saar , which operated under the name Oberliga Südwest until 2012 , and the fifth as the fifth highest division in Germany under the leadership of soccer -Regional Association Southwest . SVN Zweibrücken secured the championship and promotion to the regional league with eight points ahead of FSV Salmrohr .

The relegation ranks were occupied by SpVgg EGC Wirges , SC Halberg Brebach and Sportfreunde Köllerbach .

The newcomers were SV Alemannia Waldalgesheim from the Verbandsliga Südwest , SpVgg Burgbrohl from the Rhineland League and FC Hertha Wiesbach from the Saarland League . SC 07 Idar-Oberstein was relegated from the Regionalliga Südwest .

The top scorer was Sammer Mozain from SV Röchling Völklingen with 26 goals.

The two teams in positions 17 and 18 of the Oberliga Rheinland-Pfalz / Saar relegate to the respective association and state leagues of their association at the end of the season. Depending on the number of relegated teams from the Regionalliga Südwest from the Football Regional Association Southwest , the number of relegated clubs increases to a maximum of five clubs.
