1In January 2016, SVN Zweibrücken withdrew its team from match operations and was about to open insolvency proceedings. All matches held up to then were canceled. This made SVN Zweibrücken the first to be relegated.
2For economic reasons, the club from the Westerwald decided not to apply for the league license for the 2016/17 season at the beginning of May 2016 and was thus the second relegated. A new beginning in the 2016/17 season is planned in the Rhineland League.
