The stadium Im Haag is a pure football stadium in Idar-Oberstein , Idar district. It has been home to SC 07 Idar-Oberstein since 1990 .

The sports area "Im Haag" has a total of 57,500 square meters of land. In the center of this area is the stadium with the club house, which was completed in October 1992 after almost two years of construction (construction started on October 15, 1990). The stadium has a capacity of 4,000 visitors, including 400 covered seats. The clubhouse with restaurant, four changing rooms, massage room and gymnastics room has a constructed area of 338 square meters. The press building, which was then built, right next to the main building, includes two more cabins for teams and a small cabin for referees, as well as the guest toilets. There is also a conference room on the upper floor with an adjoining speaker's booth. On September 9, 1996, SC Idar-Oberstein completed its second grass pitch right next to the stadium. This place mainly serves as a training or alternative area. The third place is a sand playing field, which is mainly used by the youth departments. In addition, the association completed the first and so far only artificial turf pitch in Idar-Oberstein in 2010.

In 1998 a game between the U21 national teams of Germany and Russia was played in front of 6,000 spectators. In the same year, 5,000 spectators saw the DFB Cup first round match between SC 07 Idar-Oberstein and Arminia Bielefeld (0: 1).

In May 2013 it was announced that SVN Zweibrücken will play its home games in the Haag Stadium in the 2013/2014 season in the Regionalliga Südwest at the beginning of the season.

Remodeling

Standing back straight

In 2008, due to new requirements, a completely fenced-in guest area was installed behind one of the two gates. Telephone lines and a separate guest entrance were also put into operation. There are bus parking spaces behind the guest entrance. The guest area was inaugurated during the game against 1. FC Saarbrücken in the 2008 season in front of 3200 spectators.

For the 2011/12 regional league season, a standing room for 1500 people was built on the back straight. In addition, a fence was installed around the field, which is only interrupted by the grandstand. For a safe transfer of players and referees between the field and the dressing room, the entrance to the clubhouse was also framed with a fence that can be opened for the spectators before, during and after the game. Overall, the stadium's capacity was reduced from 6,000 to 4,000.
