After just one season, Bickel left Erfurt and joined the A-youth (U-19) of SC Freiburg . On 22 May 2010 (33. Match) when he celebrated 2: 0 away win of the second team (U-23) against 1. FC Nuremberg II his debut at senior level when he was in the 90th minute for Sandro Sirigu came on . For the 2010/11 season, Bickel was permanently included in the squad of the second team and became a regular player.

Professional player

For the 2011/12 season he received a professional contract with a term until June 30, 2015 and was in the professional squad. At the same time, Bickel was used in the second team. During the first half of the season he tore a ligament in his ankle. In order to catch up again more quickly, he was loaned to SSV Jahn Regensburg in the 3rd division at the end of the winter break . On February 4, 2012 (24th matchday) he celebrated his professional debut in the 2-1 defeat against VfR Aalen when he was substituted on for Selçuk Alibaz in the 69th minute of the game . In his third game against FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt, he played for the first time from the start, but after a quarter of an hour after a metatarsal fracture, not only the game but the entire season was over for him. Even without his help, Jahn Regensburg secured third place and then promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga in relegation. For the 2012/13 season, Bickel returned to SC Freiburg.

At the beginning of January 2013, Bickel moved to the second division Energie Cottbus on a free transfer . He signed a contract that ran until the end of June 2015, but in the summer of 2014 he switched to Hansa Rostock . In the third division 2014/15 season , he played 36 games at Hansa and scored seven goals. There were also five appearances in the national cup and the winning goal in the 43rd minute to make it 1-0 in the final against TSG Neustrelitz . In March 2015, he was voted third division player of the month .

After three more third division appearances in the 2015/16 season and a DFB Cup game (against 1. FC Kaiserslautern 4: 5 nE) for the Hanseatic League, Bickel left Rostock and moved to Paderborn in the 2. Bundesliga . Because of a torn knee ligament, Bickel only made 10 league appearances in Paderborn this season and was relegated with SC at the end of the season from the 2nd Bundesliga. For the 2017/18 season he was loaned to third division competitor VfL Osnabrück for a year .

For the 2018/19 season, Bickel moved to FSV Zwickau , where he played until the end of the 2019/20 season.
