Jovan Vidović (born January 6, 1989 in Ljubljana ) is a Slovenian football player .

Career

Vidović moved from the youth of NK Domžale to the first team in 2008 . Here he played in the highest Slovenian league, the Prva Liga , until 2011 and reached the final of the cup in 2010. In January 2011 Vidović moved to league rivals NK Maribor . He was three times champion and twice cup winners with Maribor. In the summer of 2013 Vidović went to Germany . He signed a contract with SV Wehen Wiesbaden . He made his debut in the 3rd division on matchday 5, August 24, 2013, in a 3-1 win over Wacker Burghausen . In the following season he moved to league competitor Hansa Rostock , whom he had to leave again in summer 2015.

After being out of a club for several months, Vidović played from the winter break of 2016 for SV Meppen in the Regionalliga Nord , with whom he was promoted to the third division as champions for the 2017/18 season . After 111 competitive games for the Emsländer, the club and players agreed to terminate the contract after the fourth matchday of the 2019/20 season .

As a result, he joined the northern regional division SC Weiche Flensburg 08 .

In summer 2020 he moved to the Regionalliga Nordost for Chemnitzer FC .

National team

Vidović played nine games for the Slovenian U21 team . He completed several appearances in qualifying for the 2011 European Under-21 Championship . He also played in the friendly against Germany's U21s , the game was lost 3-0.
