The Slovenian U-21 national football team is a selection team of Slovenian football players . It is subordinate to the Nogometna zveza Slovenije and represents the association internationally at U-21 level , for example in friendly matches against the national teams of other national associations or at European championships of the continental association UEFA .
Tournament participation
The Slovenian U-21 national team has not yet been able to qualify for a continental UEFA tournament; the national team is automatically qualified as host at the U-21 European Championship in 2021 .
