Kevin Freiberger (born November 16, 1988 in Essen ) is a German soccer player .

Career

The 1.79 m tall offensive talent began his career at the East Westphalian club SC Verl , whose greatest talent he was soon considered to be. For the 2010/11 season he switched to VfL Bochum , in whose second team he was also recommended for appearances in professional football.

On March 2, 2012 (24th matchday) Freiberger finally made his professional debut in the 2-0 home defeat against Dynamo Dresden when he came on for Daniel Ginczek in the 66th minute . For the 2012/13 season Freiberger moved to SV Wacker Burghausen . After he got only nine goalless missions there in the first half of the year, where he only played once, he moved to the regional league team Sportfreunde Lotte on January 30, 2013 .

For the 2014/15 season Freiberger moved to third division VfL Osnabrück . There he came under coach Maik Walpurgis in the first half of the season on only four short appearances. For the second half of the season he was loaned to the regional division Rot-Weiss Essen until the end of the season.

In the summer of 2015 he moved back to Sportfreunde Lotte in the Regionalliga West on a free transfer , with whom he won the championship at the end of the 2015/16 season - thanks in part to 15 goals of his own. In the promotion games to the 3rd league they prevailed against Waldhof Mannheim. After two years in the third division with Sportfreunde from Lotte, he signed a contract with Rot-Weiss Essen for the 2018/19 season .
