Lars Fuchs (born June 21, 1982 in Bad Harzburg ) is a former German soccer player and today's coach. The striker played for Eintracht Braunschweig and 1. FC Magdeburg , among others . Since summer 2017 he has been coaching the U-17s of 1. FC Magdeburg in the B-Junioren-Bundesliga .

Career

Lars Fuchs originally comes from Vienenburg in the Vorharz region. In his youth he moved from his homeland club "FG 16 Vienenburg / Wiedelah" to Eintracht Braunschweig . There he played his way through the amateurs into the first team and scored 22 goals in 119 games for Eintracht.

The first half of the second division season 2008/09 completed Fuchs at VfL Osnabrück , where he came on ten missions. In the second half of the season, however, it became clear that coach Claus-Dieter Wollitz was no longer planning with him, and so he moved to FC Carl Zeiss Jena in the third division in January 2009 , where he signed a contract until June 2011. Although Fuchs was used in twelve games in the second half of the 2008/09 season, coach René van Eck no longer planned with him. For this reason, he dissolved his contract in August by mutual agreement and joined the regional division 1. FC Magdeburg .

At FCM he played big and contributed 16 hits in 28 missions, which made him Magdeburg's most successful goalscorer in the 2009/10 season . In doing so, he made other clubs aware of himself again. Lars Fuchs moved to the amateurs of Hannover 96 before the 2010/11 season , who also played in the Regionalliga Nord. He signed a three-year deal at 96. As team captain, he led the Bundesliga club's U-23 youth team.

At the beginning of the 2013/14 season , Fuchs moved back to 1. FC Magdeburg. On May 31, 2015, as part of the team, he made it to the third division in the second leg of the relegation against Kickers Offenbach . Lars Fuchs ended his playing career on March 30, 2016. The crowd favorite is aiming for a career as a coach and should be involved in the youth work of 1. FC Magdeburg.
