Dominik Jansen (born January 30, 1982 in Mönchengladbach ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
The striker played ten games in the 2nd Bundesliga for MSV Duisburg from 2001 to 2003 before moving to the Regionalliga Nord at Eintracht Braunschweig in the summer of 2003 . For Eintracht he came to 38 regional league appearances and three goals in the following two years. In 2005 Dominik Jansen joined the reserve of FC Schalke 04 (29/4) and one year later Rot-Weiß Oberhausen . With RWO he was champion of the Oberliga Nordrhein , in which he was involved with three goals in 24 games. In the 2008/09 season Jansen played for FC Wegberg-Beeck , with whom he also took part in the DFB Cup and failed in the first main round with 1: 4 at Alemannia Aachen .
In 2009, the attacker switched to the NRW League promoted SC Wiedenbrück 2000 , whom he led in the 2009/10 season as the league's top scorer (25 goals) for promotion to the regional league. From 2010 Jansen played with Wiedenbrück in the Regionalliga West. On April 8, 2014, Jansen took over the interim coaching position in Wiedenbrück after the previous coach Theo Schneider was on leave. In the remaining seven games under his leadership, the team remained undefeated and still managed to stay in league.
Dominik Jansen is the cousin of the German national player Marcell Jansen . Dominik Jansen works full-time as an industrial clerk .
