Career

societies

youth

Bäcker was born in Rotenburg an der Fulda in northern Hesse and played in his youth for VfB Heringen , SV Eimelrod , JSG Upland and Borussia Mönchengladbach . There he went through numerous youth teams and last drew attention to himself in the A-youth , where he scored 42 goals in 48 games in the U-19 Bundesliga . At the same time, Bäcker also played in Borussia's U-23 team in the Regionalliga West , where he scored two goals in 13 games.

Professional contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach

For the 2009/10 season , Baker signed a professional contract with Borussia Mönchengladbach. He made his Bundesliga debut on January 16, 2010 in the game against VfL Bochum , when he came on for Moses Lamidi in the 63rd minute . In the 80th minute he scored the goal to make the final score 1: 2. In the further course of the season he was substituted on one more time. Otherwise, he played mostly in the U-23 team of Gladbach and scored five goals in 27 games. In the 2010/11 season he came to no further use in the professional team of Gladbach apart from a substitution in the round of 16 of the DFB Cup . For the U-23 he scored eleven goals in 20 games.

Alemannia Aachen

In order to gain more match practice, Bäcker moved to the second division Alemannia Aachen for the 2011/12 season and signed a two-year contract there. He made his league debut for Alemannia on July 24, 2011 in the game against Eintracht Braunschweig , when he came on for Alper Uludağ in the 82nd minute . However, he was denied a goal and another use in the second division team. Instead, he came in the U-23 team of Aachen in the NRW League to nine missions. For the second half of the season he returned to Borussia Mönchengladbach II on loan. There he came to 14 games in the Regionalliga West, in which he scored seven goals.

Kickers Offenbach

At the beginning of the 2012/13 season , Bäcker returned to the Alemannia, which had meanwhile been relegated to the third division . Since he was not in the squad in the first five games of the season, he moved to league rivals Kickers Offenbach . He made his league debut with the Kickers on August 25, 2012 when he came on for Thomas Rathgeber in the 75th minute . He scored his first and only goal of the season on March 16, 2013 in a game at the Stuttgarter Kickers . After the season, the Kickers got no new license for the 3rd division and had to relegate to the Regionalliga Südwest . Bäcker was one of the few players who remained loyal to the Kickers and, among other things, became a crowd favorite on the Bieberer Berg . After the 2015/16 season , his contract in Offenbach expired.

FC Bayern Alzenau

For the 2016/17 season , Bäcker moved to the Hessen division FC Bayern Alzenau . There he scored seven goals in 13 missions.
