The Wilhelm-Langrehr-Stadion (until 2000 TSV-Kampfbahn ) is a football stadium in the Havelse district of the Lower Saxon town of Garbsen and a venue for the regional soccer division TSV Havelse .

The stadium, which can hold up to 3,500 spectators, has 500 covered seats on the main stand, the rest is standing on the opposite stand (covered) and the east stand. The floodlight system achieves an illuminance of 280 lux .

history

In 1933 the area on Hannoversche Strasse was leased for the venue by a farmer for a sum of 100 marks. An old railroad car was set up as a changing room. The TSV arena was used as a home ground until the early 1970s. After playing for a few years on a field, where there was a district sports facility and today the training facilities are located, the TSV soon returned to the arena.

On the occasion of the promotion in 1990 , the stadium was expanded for the games in the second division. In the 1990/91 season, television had to improvise a lot in order to be able to film summaries of the games. Ultimately, the cameras were placed in a small container on the roof of the main stand. With the help of the transfer proceeds, the opposite stand was renewed after relegation from the Second Bundesliga and also received a roof. Over time, the adjoining gym was converted to accommodate several changing rooms. As a result of various security requirements, the capacity has been reduced from originally almost 6,000 over the years to 3,500.

In 2000 the TSV arena was renamed in honor of Wilhelm Langrehr. This name change was decided because of Wilhelm Langrehr's great services to TSV Havelse.

In 2010, due to the promotion of TSV Havelse to the Regionalliga Nord, extensive renovation and renovation work was carried out on the stadium. The two larger stands at the back of the gate were completely renewed and the opposite stand was fitted with breakwaters and a fence. Further escape gates were also created. In the summer of 2014, the men's team's cabin wing, and in the summer of 2015, part of the main grandstand was renovated by converting the spectator benches into seat shells. 2018, another renovation took place in which an LED - video wall was installed at the stadium.
