The Waldsportstätten sports field is a football stadium in Rehden, Lower Saxony, in the municipality of the same name , in the Diepholz district .
The venue, which was inaugurated in 2001, is part of the Rehden forest sports facilities and has 4,350 seats (350 seats and 4,000 standing) ready for visitors. It is the home of the soccer club BSV Rehden . Behind the roofed main stand is a school sports field with an athletics facility . The facility also has a three-field sports hall , which was inaugurated at the beginning of September 2011 and cost a total of 4.2 million euros . The training grounds behind the opposing and back-end stands are also used for youth team games. There is a small football field sponsored by the DFB , as well as a street ball field and a skater facility .
A first renovation of the stadium took place in 2009. The BSV Rehden rose to fourth place in the Lower Saxony Football League 2011/12 in the Regionalliga Nord . In order to meet the requirements of the league, the sports field was renovated again. A new clubhouse with a VIP area was also built, which was inaugurated in May 2012.
