Career

In the club

Aziz Bouhaddouz, the son of Moroccan immigrants who moved to Dietzenbach in southern Hesse a year after his birth in Berkane, Morocco , came to FSV Frankfurt as a youth player via FC Dietzenbach and Spvgg. 03 Neu-Isenburg . In the senior division, Bouhaddouz was first used in the 2006/07 season in the Oberliga Hessen . In 2007, the Bornheimers were promoted to the Regionalliga Süd and in the following year to the 2nd Bundesliga. Bouhaddouz was only used sporadically in the first team, he did not complete any of his ten regional league games over the full distance. For the second half of the 2008/09 season he was loaned to the third division club Erzgebirge Aue . There he scored a goal in nine games and returned to the Bornheimer Hang after the end of the round.

In the preliminary round of the 2009/10 season he played his first games in the 2nd Bundesliga and was used a total of 17 times in the course of the round, but could not earn a regular place under Tomas Oral or Hans-Jürgen Boysen . In the second team of the FSV, which this season under coach Ramon Berndroth became champions of the Hessenliga and rose to the Regionalliga Süd, he was Bornheimer's top scorer with 23 goals in 20 games. Also in the second division season 2010/11 Bouhaddouz was in the professional squad of the FSV and also came to several short appearances in the preliminary round. On the 24th matchday he scored his first second division goal in the 2-1 away defeat in Cottbus.

Bouhaddouz left FSV Frankfurt in the summer of 2011 after unable to agree on an extension of the contract with the club and moved to third division club SV Wehen Wiesbaden . Under coach Gino Lettieri , the striker was temporarily a regular player in the first half of the 2011/12 season, but in the second half of the season , when Lettieri was replaced by Peter Vollmann , Bouhaddouz came almost exclusively through substitutions. At the end of the season, Bouhaddouz had 27 games and four goals. He then agreed with the SV Wehen on an early termination of his contract. He signed for the 2012/13 season with FC Viktoria Köln in the Regionalliga West. At the end of August 2013, Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen signed him for their regional reserve. Bouhaddouz was the top scorer in the Regionalliga West with 24 goals. A year later he moved to SV Sandhausen .

For the 2016/17 season he joined FC St. Pauli . During the 2016/17 season he suffered a syndesmosis ligament , after which he was out for a month and a half.

On August 22, 2018, Bouhaddouz moved to the Saudi Arabian first division club Al-Batin FC . His contract was valid until June 2019 and was not extended after the club's relegation.

In May 2019, SV Sandhausen announced the return of the Moroccan.
