Rick Wulle (born June 4, 1994 in Heidelberg ) is a German soccer goalkeeper .

Career

Rick Wulle began his career at DJK-FC Ziegelhausen / Peterstal in Heidelberg . In 2008 he joined FC-Astoria Walldorf , where he was taken over into the senior squad in 2013 after he had left his youth. For Walldorf , he played 42 point games in two years, first in the Oberliga Baden-Württemberg and then, after promotion, in the Regionalliga Südwest . A highlight of Rick Wulle's young career was his appearance in the DFB Cup on August 16, 2014 against Bundesliga club Hannover 96 .

In the summer of 2015 he was signed by SV Sandhausen , for which he initially only appeared in the second team in the major league. On February 5, 2016, coach Alois Schwartz used him for the first time in the 2nd Bundesliga as a replacement for the injured goalkeeper Marco Knaller . He was in goal against SC Paderborn 07 . In the following years Wulle was a fixture in the squad of the second division and was part of the matchday squad for every competitive game of SV Sandhausen. In the 2016/17 season , he made further Bundesliga appearances against Karlsruher SC and Union Berlin . In May 2017, Wulle suffered a ruptured cruciate ligament that put him out of action until the end of the year. In January 2018 Wulle made his comeback for SV Sandhausen. At the training camp in Chiclana de la Frontera , he was used in the test match against SpVgg Unterhaching in the first half. In the second half of the season he played regularly in the reserve team.
