Julius Valentin Biada (born November 3, 1992 in Cologne ) is a German soccer player who is under contract with SV Sandhausen . His preferred position is the offensive midfield.
Career
Biada came through the youth departments of ESV Olympia Köln via Heiligenhauser SV to Bonner SC , to which he returned after a year-long stint at Sportfreunde Troisdorf . At Bayer 04 Leverkusen he made the jump from the U-19 to the second team in the regional league. After a year with the U-23 of FC Schalke 04 in the regional league , in which he scored 11 goals and 6 assists in 33 appearances for the miners, he signed a two-year contract with the then third division club SV Darmstadt 98 .
In Darmstadt he made his professional debut in the DFB Cup on August 4, 2013 in a 5-4 win after penalties against Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach . On August 10, 2013 he played for the first time in the 3rd division when he was substituted on in the 58th minute of the game against VfL Osnabrück . His first and only goal in the 2013/14 promotion season for Hessen he scored on matchday 15 in the 1: 2 defeat against Wacker Burghausen . In total, he was used 16 times in his first third division season, but mostly only came to short appearances and was not given a regular place in the well-rehearsed team of Darmstadt. In the following 2nd league season 2014/15 , the native of Cologne was only used in the first half of the game against FC St. Pauli and therefore accepted the offer from third division club SC Fortuna Köln , from which Biada as a replacement for the injured, during the winter break . creative midfielder Kristoffer Andersen was committed until June 30, 2016.
Especially in the 3rd league season 2015/16 he was able to establish himself at Fortuna with 14 goals and 11 assists in 33 games, was after Marco Königs the top goalscorer of his club and one of the best scorers in the league. Of his goals, most of which resulted from long-range shots, one of his two goals on matchday 26 on February 20, 2016 in a 4-1 win over SV Wehen Wiesbaden was selected as a suggestion for goal of the month for February 2016 in the ARD Sportschau . Already during the season it became known that Biada would return to the 2nd Bundesliga in the coming season , from which he had offers from several clubs and thus his involvement with Fortuna was not extended .
He also justified the move to the second division club Eintracht Braunschweig with the prospect of a first league promotion , with which Biada signed a three-year contract on May 19, 2016. He scored his first goal in the second division on matchday 1 against the Würzburger Kickers, making it 2-0. Overall, he got a lot of working time at his new club at the beginning of the 2016/17 season and was able to contribute to the good start into the season for Lower Saxony with three goals until he tore a muscle fiber in training in early October and was out for several weeks. So it remained at the end of his first season for Braunschweig with three goals and three assists in 21 stakes. In the following season 2017/18 he was injured during training and was used in a total of 10 league games (1 template) for Lower Saxony .
After the season, which ended with the relegation of Eintracht Braunschweig, he moved to the other third division relegated, 1. FC Kaiserslautern . Following the season, his contract, which was still valid until 2021, was terminated by mutual agreement.
In June 2019, the midfielder received a three-year contract with the second division club SV Sandhausen .
