Career

Despite 133 regional and league games for the second team of TSG 1899 Hoffenheim , he never made it into the professional squad of Hoffenheim. In 2012 he moved to the third division relegated Karlsruher SC .

With him as a regular player in the position of right defender, the team managed to get promoted back to the 2nd Bundesliga . Klingmann scored his first professional goal on October 24, 2012 in the third division match against the Stuttgarter Kickers . After this successful season, he also made a significant contribution to the positive end of the season in 5th place in the 2013/14 season and, thanks to his constant performance, got into the "Kicker Elf" of the 2013/2014 season. In the following year he managed to finish third division with KSC and set a high point in his career with the subsequent relegation games against HSV . The first leg in Hamburg ended 1: 1 and rightly generated hope for promotion to the 1st Bundesliga. Due to a controversial and much discussed referee decision by referee Manuel Graefe , the promotion was denied. The game ended 1: 2.

For the 2016/2017 season he moved to SV Sandhausen . After a good start of the season 2017/18 with two goals and four Torvorbereitungen in the first 20 match days Klingman (21. Match) withdrew on February 2nd, 2018 at 0: 1 defeat to Fortuna Dusseldorf after a clash with Genki Haraguchi a Broken skull and was out for the rest of the season. His expiring contract in Sandhausen was extended for another year at the end of the 2019/20 season despite little working time.
