Tim Kister (born December 30, 1986 in Frankfurt am Main ) is a German soccer player . He is right-footed and is preferably used in the position of central defender . He plays for SV Sandhausen .
Career
Tim Kister started at the Frankfurt district association SpVgg. 05 Oberrad with the soccer games and played there with the first men's team in the Hessian Landesliga Süd (today: Verbandsliga Süd ). In the summer of 2007 he moved to city rivals Rot-Weiss Frankfurt , who at that time had just been promoted to the Hessen League.
For the 2010/11 season , the third division Dynamo Dresden signed the defensive player. For his first competitive use for the same city dwellers and thus also to his debut in the professional sector Kister came (1st Round) on 24 July 2010, when he in the 1: 2 away defeat against Eintracht Braunschweig in 84 minutes for Jonas Strifler came on . In the 3-0 home win over 1. FC Saarbrücken on August 20 of the same year (5th matchday), he scored in his first league game for Dynamo over the full season with his goal to be 2-0 in the 65th minute first goal in professional football. In the following games, Kister fought for a regular place - aided by a protracted injury to regular central defender Florian Jungwirth from the previous season - which he kept until the second half of the season, until he was out for a long time due to injury. At the end of the season Dynamo Dresden rose to the 2nd Bundesliga , but Kister's contract was not extended.
He then moved to the third division VfR Aalen for the 2011/12 season . Under coach Ralph Hasenhüttl , Kister was used alongside Jürgen Mössmer as a regular in the central defense of the black and whites. At the end of the season, Kister was also on a promotion place with the Aalen team. On the first day of the 2012/13 season he made his debut in the 2nd Bundesliga in the dress of the Ostalbstädter. For the 2013/14 season, Kister moved to the second division club SV Sandhausen . Due to several injuries, among other things he broke his hand twice and suffered a torn ligament in his ankle, he could not fight for a regular place in his first year at SVS. After he succeeded in doing this in the following years, in June 2017 he extended his expiring contract until the summer of 2019, combined with the option for a further year.

Kister has been married to Yvonne Schröder , the runner-up in the first season of Germany's Next Topmodel , since 2012 and has two children with her.
