taff ( acronym for "daily, up-to-date, fresh, cheeky") is a German tabloid magazine that is broadcast Monday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on ProSieben .
history
taff first went on air on May 29, 1995, initially as taff. (with period). The short articles or weekly series mainly deal with Hollywood gossip, youth and pop culture and news from all over the world. The show is produced in Unterföhring near Munich . Studio design and moderators changed several times, with Dominik Schott, Frank Wölfel and Tina Ly serving as speakers since 1995.
In addition to the weekly program, there was the program taff Extra from 1998 to 1999 , which was moderated by Alexander Mazza and later by Steven Gätjen . On the weekend, this broadcast showed a summary of selected contributions from the week.
Taff has been broadcasting from a new studio since April 23, 2012 . The logo has also been renewed. The motto is: Life. Style. Smile.
Since 23 September 2017 are also on Saturday at 17:00 the show tough weekend to see.

Special expenses
To win the Eurovision Song Contest 2010 , taff showed the arrival of Lena Meyer-Landrut live in Hanover on May 30, 2010 , while the recordings were shown on the first as Our Star for Oslo special and presented by Matthias Opdenhövel and Sabine Heinrich . The second half, which was only broadcast on taff, was moderated by Steven Gätjen .
On June 17, 2019, Joko Winterscheidt and Klaas Heufer-Umlauf took over the moderation of the show for one day due to a bet redemption of the show Joko & Klaas against ProSieben .
