Stefan Gödde
Stefan Gödde (born December 12, 1975 in Paderborn ) is a German television presenter , journalist and book author .
Life
Stefan Gödde grew up in Rüthen ( Soest district ). There he attended the Friedrich-Spee-Gymnasium and completed his community service . After graduating from high school (1995) he studied German and English at the University of Paderborn and Aston University in Birmingham . He passed his first state examination for teaching at secondary levels I and II in December 2001.
Parallel to his studies, Stefan Gödde worked as a presenter at Hellweg Radio , a local radio station in the Soest district (1996–2001). He sat in on the RTL Extra editorial team (2000) and worked as a freelancer for Sabine Christiansen ( ARD 2002).
TV career
Stefan Gödde has been the presenter of various TV shows and programs since 2002. In addition to some entertainment shows ( The Voice of Germany / Season 1 , The next Uri Geller - Incredible Phenomena Live , Stars on Ice, etc.), he is best known as a presenter of magazine programs and TV documentaries. He began his television career as a presenter for the ProSieben business magazine BIZZ . He then moderated the tabloid magazine taff together with Annemarie Carpendale from 2005 to 2009 . Since March 2009 he has been presenting the ProSieben knowledge magazine Galileo - alternating weekly with Aiman Abdallah . His TV reports from Chernobyl and North Korea attracted particular attention .
Awards
In 2012, Stefan Gödde received the Golden Camera in the “Best Entertainment” category for The Voice of Germany . In the same year he was also awarded the German Television Prize for the Voice of Germany in the category "Best Entertainment Show". In 2017 he received the German Television Award again , this time for Galileo in the “Best Infotainment” category.
Book projects
In 2012 Stefan Gödde published his first book with Hanser-Verlag with the title “Extrem. Our body at the limit ”, in which he describes borderline situations in the human body. Under the title “Nice to meet you, Jerusalem” (October 2019), Stefan Gödde's second book was published by Polyglott-Verlag, “[e] in a travel guide, which tells an unusual and exciting story”. Stefan Gödde donates his share of the sales proceeds to the charitable project "I carry your name on Christmas night to Bethlehem" of the German-speaking Benedictine Abbey Dormition on Mount Zion in Jerusalem .
Charity
Stefan Gödde is active as an ambassador for the children's aid organization World Vision International . At the same time he is an ambassador for the “Arnsberger Wald Nature Park”. At the Friedrich-Spee-Gymnasium Rüthen he took over the school sponsorship for the project School without Racism - School with Courage . He is also the "Laugh Ambassador" of the charity event "Bad Kreuznach laughs."
Oddities
