Extra - Das RTL-Magazin (own spelling: EXTRA - Das RTL-Magazin ) has been a weekly tabloid and consumer magazine of the TV station RTL that has been broadcast since 1994 and was moderated by Birgit Schrowange for 25 years . Her successor is Nazan Eckes .
Content
In addition to consumer topics such as product tests with a hidden camera and boulevard, the program also shows contributions that complement current RTL series, such as Bauer sucht Frau , Deutschland sucht den Superstar (DSDS), Rach, the restaurant tester or even the Quiz show Who Wants To Be A Millionaire , aired the same evening .
Earlier components of the magazine were the Reimann family from Hamburg , who emigrated to Gainesville , Texas in 2004 , with 84 contributions and the erotic section, which was usually broadcast at the end of every program from 1995 to 2010. Currently there are the categories Jenke as ... or The Jenke experiment with reporter Jenke von Wilmsdorff . The broadcast time was initially 45 minutes and was later extended to 75 minutes.
Moderators
Birgit Schrowange moderated the format from the beginning until she announced after the 25th anniversary of the program that she would be leaving at the end of the year. On December 23, 2019, she hosted her last show. Her successor was Nazan Eckes.
