Christian Düren
Christian Düren (born June 19, 1990 in Neuss ) is a German journalist , television presenter and commentator. He has been moderating for ProSieben since July 2017 .
life and career
Düren grew up in Rommerskirchen near Cologne . After graduating from high school in 2009, Düren studied journalism with a focus on sport at the Macromedia Academy in Cologne . During his studies he already worked as a student assistant and freelancer for the political talk show Hart but Fair on ARD . From 2013 he worked in Berlin for the production company Meta Productions, which produces the weekly magazine akte for Sat.1 . Here Düren initially acted as an intern, later as a volunteer and reporter / editor. In addition to numerous articles within the magazine, he also produced 45-minute reports. Düren was already acting as a so-called “reporter in the on”. In 2015, Düren then moderated the Sat.1 breakfast television as a replacement for Matthias Killing and Jan Hahn . In January 2017, Düren switched to the 24-hour sports news channel Sky Sport News HD and hosted the five-hour live broadcast every day. Since July 2017, Düren has been moderating the daily magazine taff on ProSieben alongside Annemarie Carpendale , Viviane Geppert and Rebecca Mir . In addition, he leads through the Saturday offshoot taff weekend alone and alternately with Viviane Geppert. In 2018, together with Janin Ullmann , he moderated the game show Time Battle, which had already been discontinued after one episode, on ProSieben. Since 2020 he has hosted the game show "Balls - I do everything for money" on ProSieben.
Private
Düren lives in Cologne and is single. He is a member and season ticket holder of 1. FC Köln . As an ambassador for the GoVolunteer volunteer community , Düren advocates diversity and community living in Germany.
