Daniel Aminati (born September 9, 1973 in Aachen ) is a German television presenter , singer , dancer and actor .

Life

Daniel Aminati was born in Aachen; the father is from Ghana , the mother is German and the grandfather is from Poland . He has three sisters, u. a. a twin sister who works as a make-up artist and editor for Bravo Sport .

Aminati played soccer in the youth team at Alemannia Aachen and at the age of 17 was active in the A youth team at FC Bayern Munich under the coaches Hermann Gerland and Klaus Augenthaler . At the age of 15, he started working as a background dancer parallel to his dream of becoming a professional soccer player. He had engagements with acts like Chocolate (then singer Verona Pooth ), PM Sampson and the Bass Bumpers .

In 1990, at the age of 17, he was hired as a dancer with his then dance partner Tyron Ricketts , known from SOKO Leipzig , for Peter Kern's production of the opera Frau Luna at the Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus . Kern was impressed by Aminii's stage presence and one year later gave him his first film role as an actor in the drama Gossenkind (with Winfried Glatzeder , Renate Krößner, among others ).

From 1992 Daniel Aminati also worked as a model on various fashion shows such as Igedo , ISPO ( Reebok , Nike , Armani ). Cindy Crawford also booked him as a model for her TV promotion for the fitness video Shape your body .

From September 10, 2019, he will host the new ProSieben game show Renn zur Million together with Rebecca Mir and Elmar Pauke.

As the front man of the fitness program "Mach dich krass", Aminati tries to bring overweight, untrained people to more physical fitness. This is done using nutrition tips and workout videos.

In 2014 Daniel Aminati supported the animal welfare organization Vier Pfoten . Together with the Brüll campaign for more humanity for animals, they advocate a ban on wild animals in German circuses. He is also a prominent sponsor of the All Kids are VIPs of the Bertelsmann Foundation.
