Niki and Philipp have been happily married for ten years and run a hair salon together in Berlin. But the idyll does not last long, because Niki's ex-boyfriend Finn appears and puts Niki in a rollercoaster of emotions. His wife Mia opens a salon directly opposite and thus causes a guerrilla war that is denied by all means.

The series was highly praised by critics in advance, but the ratings remained below expectations, so that Sat.1 discontinued the series after the first season (13 episodes) on December 27, 2005.
The complete series has been available on four DVDs since March 24, 2006.
A continuation of the series was planned, but was not due to the ratings.
