Nico Schwanz (born January 12, 1978 in Apolda ) is a television actor and singer .

The trained glazier and hairdresser was elected Mr. Model of the World on March 9, 2003 in Guatemala after a few smaller appearances on catwalks and in commercials . The choice helped him achieve his breakthrough as a photo model, after which he worked for the s.Oliver fashion company and Baur Versand, among others .

In 2003, Nico Schwanz was engaged as a guest juror of the fourth round of 16 of the Star Search casting show together with Jasmin Wagner . He also had to rate the performance of the then unknown Tokio Hotel singer Bill Kaulitz . 2004 took tail on the reality TV telecast Die Alm in part, the following year he was the guest of Big Brother .

Nico Schwanz ran a hair salon in Jena between 2006 and 2011 . After five years of relationship, he separated from Juliett Giegler in 2013. The couple's son was born on April 30, 2010 in Apolda . Until September 2016, Schwanz was in a relationship with Saskia Atzerodt , a former participant in the program The Bachelor and Playmate of the Month July 2016 . After a three-month separation, the two announced their engagement in early 2017 and separated again in July 2017. Shortly before the separation, Nico Schwanz and Saskia Atzerodt won the second season of The Summer House of the Stars - Fight of the Celebrity Couples as a couple .
