Bass Bumpers is a German dance project founded by Henning Reith and Caba Kroll in 1988.

history

Initially only producing for Sydney Fresh and Twenty 4 Seven , the group released their first single under their own name in 1990: Can't Stop Dancing . Two years later, Kroll and Reith made their breakthrough with The Music's Got Me . Other dance successes followed such as Move To The Rhythm , Runnin ' and Good Fun . Bass Bumpers fell silent in the late 1990s. Akira Yamamoto and CJ Stone (Andreas Litterscheid) joined the band, which from then on specialized in mixes and productions by other artists. The successful ones include DJ Sammy , U 96 , Loona and Brooklyn Bounce . In 2002 and 2003 further members came to Bass Bumpers Music: Reinhard "VooDoo" Raith (known from Voodoo & Serano , for example ), Level K., Massimo Nocito and Sven Koslik.

In the summer of 2005, the team had another super hit with a remake of the Axel-F theme by Harold Faltermeyer . Originally intended only as a ringtone, the single reached Axel F by Crazy Frog straight away the top of the UK charts.
