Kristoffer Andersen (born December 9, 1985 in Etterbeek , Belgium ) is a Danish- Belgian football player .

childhood

The son of the Danish football player Henrik Andersen and a Belgian was born in Etterbeek and spent the first years of his life in Anderlecht , where his father played for RSC Anderlecht . After his father moved to 1. FC Köln in 1990, he moved with his family to Ostbelgien and grew up there.

Career

youth

Andersen started playing soccer in 1992 in the youth department of KAS Eupen and in 2000 played on loan at the youth academy of RSC Anderlecht, where his father was already under contract during his active career. In 2001 he moved to the Standard Liège football school . There he decided to become a professional footballer.

KAS Eupen and FC Brussels (until 2007)

In the senior division, Andersen played again at KAS Eupen from 2004 ; a year later he moved to the back in the first division playing FC Brussels . In his first season he made his professional football debut on December 10, 2005 in 0-0 on the 17th matchday of the 2005/06 season against VV St. Truiden when he came on for Kristof Snelders in the 71st minute . On February 22, 2006 he scored his first goal in professional football with the winning goal to 1-0 on the 22nd matchday in the game against KVC Westerlo . In the 2005/06 season, Andersen played eleven games, giving one assist and one goal. In the first half of the following season he played in 13 games. In January 2007 he was sorted out by the club president with seven other players.

Borussia Mönchengladbach II (2007 to 2008)

A short time later he moved to Germany to the Borussia Mönchengladbach reserve team, which was then playing in the regional league . On February 11, 2007 he made his debut when he was substituted on for Marko Marin in the 0-1 defeat on Matchday 21 at Dynamo Dresden in the 63rd minute . On May 6, 2007 he marked his first goal for the reserve team of Mönchengladbach with the 1-0 goal on the 31st matchday in the game against Kickers Emden (final score 1: 1). At the end of the season, Andersen had 16 games and two goals in what was then the northern season of the Regionalliga . With the 16th place in the table they rose from the regional league to the league and rose again after the following season. Andersen contributed with six goals in 28 games. The then coach of the professional team Jos Luhukay wanted to equip Andersen with a professional contract, but the then sports director Christian Ziege refused.

Short guest appearances (2008 to 2013)

From the 2008/09 season Andersen played for VfR Aalen in the newly founded 3rd division . He was used for VfR Aalen in 27 games and scored one goal; with the Aalen, he was relegated to the end of the season from the 3rd division.

In August 2009 Peter Neururer signed Andersen on the recommendation of his father Henrik for the second division club MSV Duisburg . After 22 completed league games and a goal in the second round of the DFB Cup in the game against Borussia Mönchengladbach (1-0), coach Milan Šašić Andersen announced that he was no longer planning with him. He then moved to the then promoted team in the second division, VfL Osnabrück . With the Osnabrückers he rose again from the second class after losing relegation.

In June 2011 he went to FC Ingolstadt 04 , which was coached by Benno Möhlmann . For the club he was used in only two games, playing a total of eight minutes. After he had cured a tear in both menisci , Andersen could not fight for a regular place under the new coach Tomas Oral .

For the 2012/13 season, Andersen was obliged by the then third division and second division relegated Alemannia Aachen . He received a contract for the third division that ran until 2014. For Alemannia Aachen he was used in 25 games in which he did not score a goal. At the end of the season there was relegation from the 3rd division to the regional division.

Fortuna Cologne (2013 to 2019)

On September 4th, 2013 Andersen signed a contract with SC Fortuna Köln . In his first season for Fortuna Cologne he made 24 appearances, three assists and one goal. With Fortuna he rose to the 3rd division at the end of the 2013/14 season ; in the promotion round they prevailed against the second team of FC Bayern Munich . Andersen was used in both the first and second leg. In the 2014/15 season, he only played 13 league games due to injury. The SC Fortuna Köln managed to stay up. On July 25, 2015 Andersen made his comeback after his injury on the first day of the 2015/16 season . Andersen made 25 appearances this season. Due to various injuries, Kristoffer Andersen only made 81 appearances in the third division for Cologne's Südstädter. After SC Fortuna Köln was relegated from the 3rd division to the Regionalliga West at the end of the 2018/19 season, he ended his active career.
