Rafael Kazior (* 7. March 1983 in Gliwice . Poland as Rafał Tomasz Kazior ) is a former German footballer of Polish origin.

Career

The striker began his professional career at FC St. Pauli . In 2003 he moved to MSV Duisburg , where he gained his first experience in the 2nd Bundesliga (four games). In 2004 he went to Wacker Burghausen , where he played for a total of two years before moving to Holstein Kiel . With Kiel he was relegated to the league . In the 2007/08 season he played for Rot-Weiss Essen in the Regionalliga Nord, but missed the qualification for the newly created 3rd division with the club by table position 12. Then Kazior moved to Hamburger SV , where he played in the reserve team for the next three years. Since summer 2015 he has played for Werder Bremen's second team . In summer 2018 he ended his active career and switched to the Werder Bremen video analysis team.

In his professional career he played 55 second division games (3 goals), 203 third division games (33 goals) and 207 regional league games (50 goals).
