Football Regional League 2014/15

The 2014/15 season of the Regionalliga was the seventh season of the Regional Football League as the fourth-highest division in Germany. The leagues are sponsored by the regional and state associations.

Regional leagues

• Regionalliga Bayern 2014/15 with 18 teams from the Bavarian Football Association (BFV)
• Regionalliga Nord 2014/15 with 18 teams from the North German Football Association (NFV)
• Regionalliga Nordost 2014/15 with 16 teams from the Northeast German Football Association (NOFV)
• Regionalliga Südwest 2014/15 with 18 teams from the Football Regional Association Southwest and the South German Football Association (SFV) with the exception of the Bavarian Football Association
• Regionalliga West 2014/15 with 18 teams from the West German Football and Athletics Association (WFLV)

Promotion Games

The champions of the five regional leagues and the runner-up of the Regionalliga Südwest took part in the promotion games to the 3rd division . The winners of the three drawn promotion games with a return leg rose. A meeting between the two qualifiers of the Regionalliga Südwest was not possible.

The following teams qualified for the promotion games:

• Champion of the Regionalliga Bayern: Würzburger Kickers
• Champion of the Regionalliga Nord: Werder Bremen II
• Champion of the Regionalliga Nordost: 1. FC Magdeburg
• Champion of the Regionalliga Südwest: Kickers Offenbach
• Runner-up in the Regionalliga Südwest: 1. FC Saarbrücken
• Champion of the Regionalliga West: Borussia Mönchengladbach II

The game was drawn on April 12th during the half-time break between FSV Zwickau and FC Carl Zeiss Jena . The first leg took place on May 27th and the second leg on May 31st. The allocation of the placeholders A and B in the Regionalliga Südwest to the champions and runners-up took place on May 2nd live on Hessischer Rundfunk .
