The women's DFB Cup was played for the 35th time in the 2014/15 season. The defending champion was 1. FFC Frankfurt . The final took place on May 1st, 2015 in Cologne's Rheinenergiestadion . The cup winner was VfL Wolfsburg , who beat 1. FFC Turbine Potsdam 3-0 in the final and won the DFB Cup for the second time.

Participating teams

The teams in the 1st and 2nd Bundesliga of the past season were automatically qualified. In addition there were the promoted players in the 2nd Bundesliga and the winners of the 21 regional cup competitions. Second teams are generally not eligible to participate. If a second team, whose first team has already qualified for the DFB-Pokal, or a promoted player to the second Bundesliga wins the state cup, the defeated finalist in the DFB-Pokal moves up.

The tickets were drawn by the former national player Anouschka Bernhard . The eight best-placed teams in the 2013/14 Bundesliga season received a bye for round 1. The draw took place separately in a north and a south group.

The draw took place on August 30th, 2014 during the half-time break in the opening game of the Allianz Women's Bundesliga between VfL Wolfsburg and SC Freiburg . Losfee was Conny Pohlers . It was drawn separately in north and south groups, with all clubs playing below the 2nd Bundesliga were seeded. These are the FC Viktoria 1889 Berlin and the SV Germania Hauenhorst for the northern group, as well as the Hegauer FV , the TSV Schott Mainz , the SG 99 Andernach and the 1. FFC Bergisch Gladbach for the southern group.
