Selina Wagner (born October 6, 1990 in St. Wendel ) is a former German soccer player .

Career

Selina Wagner rose to the Bundesliga in 2007 with 1. FC Saarbrücken , where she became a regular player. After the descent of the Saarbrücken in 2008, she was active in the 2nd women's division for a year before moving to VfL Wolfsburg in 2009. She mostly plays in right midfield, occasionally in attack. In the 2012/13 season she was German champion, DFB Cup and Champions League winner with the VfL women . After her contract in Wolfsburg was not extended in May 2015, Wagner switched to league rivals SC Freiburg on June 18, 2015 . In the summer of 2017 she moved to SC Sand . She currently plays for the Elversberg Sports Association

National team

On September 29, 2007 she made her debut in the U-19 national team. In the game against Macedonia she scored a goal at 12-0. In total, she has scored six goals in ten international matches.

On August 1, 2010, she became U-20 World Champion 2010 in Germany.
