The Football Association of Saxony-Anhalt (FSA) is the umbrella organization for all football clubs in Saxony-Anhalt . It was founded as a registered association on August 19, 1990 in Magdeburg , where the association is also based. The colors of the FSA are black and yellow. As a member of the German Football Association (DFB) , the Northeast German Football Association (NOFV) and the State Sports Association ( LSB) of Saxony-Anhalt , he regulates his affairs independently in accordance with their statutes. The association has 93,690 members and 745 clubs, which in turn take part in matches with 2,699 teams.

Competitions

Divisions

  • Men's

The highest division is the Association League Saxony-Anhalt . Among them is the regional league in the north and south seasons. The third highest level of the FSA men's divisions is made up of the seven relays of the national division.

  • Juniors

For the A, B and C juniors, the association league is the highest division. For the D-Juniors teams, the talent league, played in two seasons, forms the highest division within the FSA. The youngest footballers, the E, F and G juniors, play for points at district level in the top division.

  • Women

The top division of women is the Association League Saxony-Anhalt with a relay strength of nine teams. Among them is the regional league .

Cup competitions

The FSA is the host of the Sachsen-Anhalt Cup in the men's area, the winner of which qualifies for the first main round in the DFB Cup , as well as the state cups for women and all age groups from A-youth to E-youth .
