Rebekah Ashley Stott (born June 17, 1993 in Papamoa Beach ) is a New Zealand soccer player .
Life
Born in Papamoa Beach, Bay of Plenty , Stott moved to Queensland, Australia at the age of 11 . There she attended Marsden State High School in Brisbane and played for their women soccer team.

Stott started her career with the Queensland Academy of Sport . In the summer of 2011, she moved from Brisbane Roar to league rivals Melbourne Victory and scored a goal in 25 games. On February 5, 2013, she left Down Under and moved to the German second division club SC Sand , with whom she was promoted to the women's Bundesliga in summer 2014 . In January 2015, she turned her back on SC Sand and returned to Australia. Since 2015 she has played for Melbourne City FC in the W-League . With her new club, she finished the regular season in first place and was then able to win the Grand Final against Sydney FC 4-1. After appearing in 8 games for Sky Blue FC, she signed with compatriot Victoria Esson at Avaldsnes IL in Norway on November 19, 2018 . At Avaldsnes, she did not miss a minute in the first nine games of the season.
National team
Scott played in Australia's U-17 and U-20 when she was a teenager, before joining the New Zealand Football Federation.
On June 17, 2012, she played her first international match for the New Zealand women's national soccer team in a friendly against China. In August 2012 she played for New Zealand at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London . She was also part of the squad for the 2015 World Cup . She was used in the three group matches and scored the first goal in the last group match in a 2-2 draw against China . She was also nominated for the 2016 Olympic Games. She was used in the three games, but retired with her team as the worst group third.
She was used in three games at the 2018 Oceania Women's Soccer Championship . As tournament winners, the New Zealanders qualified for the 2019 World Cup and the 2020 Olympic Games .
In spring 2019 it was used in the three games at the Cup of Nations .
On April 29, she was nominated for the World Cup in France .
