Team Melbourne City Women is the women's football division of Melbourne City FC and plays in the top Australian women's football league , the W-League . The association is based in Melbourne , Victoria , and was founded in 2015.
history
In May 2015, the club announced that it would be reporting a women's team for the 2015/16 season of the W-League for the first time. Joe Montemurro became the first head coach and the former national player Louisa Bisby was appointed team manager. The first engagement was the national player and World Cup participant Lisa De Vanna .
